Stains kitchens actually get
Fat from the fryer and the pass, blood from butchery, tomato, beetroot, turmeric and red wine jus. Each is treated before the main wash with a method that suits it: protein marks cold first, fats with a degreasing pre-treatment, plant colours separately. Collars and cuffs are pre-treated every time, because sweat builds up there first.
Kept apart from everything else
Kitchen whites never share a wash with table linen, front-of-house napkins or cleaning cloths. Coloured trousers and aprons are washed away from white jackets so nothing greys. Side towels and oven cloths, if you send them, travel in their own bags.
How collection works
Most kitchens choose a pickup after the busiest service and a return before the next one. Tell us how many cooks you have and how often they change, and we will suggest how many sets each person needs so nobody is left without a clean jacket.

Yes, separately from whites; small mixed loads can be priced by weight.
What should we remove before sending whites?
Pens, thermometers and lighters from pockets, and any removable stud buttons.
