Ironing questions
How much does an ironing service cost in London?
Ironing only is £1.80 an item, and £2.00 for a shirt, including VAT. Washed and pressed shirts are £3.00 each.
Is there an ironing service near me?
If you live anywhere in London’s 33 boroughs, we collect your ironing from the door and bring it back pressed, so no local shop is needed.
Do I have to wash items before sending them for ironing?
No. Send them clean for ironing only, or let us wash them first; mark the bag so we know which.
Will my clothes come back on hangers?
Shirts, dresses and trousers come back on hangers. Bed linen comes back pressed and folded.
Can you iron delicate fabrics?
Yes. We press each fabric at the heat its care label allows, from cotton to linen and viscose, and ask before pressing anything that looks at risk.
How quickly is ironing returned?
